Ritu Singh Ghumman

Ritu Singh Ghumman is a Partner at Dua Associates in Delhi, specialising in intellectual property law. Her practice covers trademark prosecution, maintenance, oppositions, rectifications, brand clearance assignments, licensing, enforcement, and recordal of trademarks with the Customs Authority. She also advises on domain name dispute resolution and brand strategy.

Ritu regularly advises clients on framing marketing strategies, extending and diversifying IP portfolios, and conducting due diligence. She has been an invited speaker at several IP fora, including the In-House Practitioners Round Table Conference of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and a workshop organized by the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA India). She has worked on a pro bono basis with start-ups on brand identity and clearance, advising on the application, significance, and leveraging of intellectual property rights.

Ritu holds a BA and LL.B from Delhi University (1999). She is a Member of the Delhi Bar Council (D-2360/99) and the International Trademark Association (INTA), where she has served on the Trademark Offices Practice Committee (India).
