Shiv Sapra

Shiv Sapra is a Partner at Kochhar & Co. in the New Delhi office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. With over 17 years of experience, he advises multinational and domestic clients on contentious and non-contentious matters from a pragmatic and commercial perspective, with a particular focus on arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy, commercial and contractual disputes.

Shiv's expertise extends to hospitality, engineering and construction contracts, SARFAESI, mercantile law, criminal law and writ jurisdiction. He advises multinational banks and financial institutions on commercial issues, litigation and insolvency aspects. He has represented clients before various courts, including the Hon'ble High Court at Amravati, and has advised the Committee of Creditors in CIRP proceedings involving domestic and international banks. He also assists international law firms on the enforceability of foreign judgments in India.

Shiv holds a BSL, LL.B. from ILS Law College, Pune. He is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association and the Bar Council of Delhi. He previously spent 16 years as a Partner specialising in Arbitration, Disputes and Insolvency at a leading full-service law firm.
