Manisha Sharma is an Associate Partner at Vaish Associates, focusing on Tax Law. She is an Advocate and a qualified Chartered Accountant, and an alumna of Government Law College, Mumbai, with a Master’s in Corporate and Commercial Laws from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.

She specialises in direct tax litigation and advisory services and is a senior member of the Vaish Tax group, with more than 10 years of experience in direct taxation.

She has been extensively engaged in providing advisory and litigation services to clients in the direct tax arena. She has been involved in complex tax litigations before Courts and Tribunals across India resulting in landmark decisions, and regularly argues or assists Senior Counsel in tax matters before Courts, the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and other appellate and quasi-judicial authorities.

She caters to a diverse client base, ranging from listed multi-national corporations and domestic conglomerates across sectors including oil and gas, automobiles, chemicals, real estate and hospitality, to high-net-worth individuals.

Her practice areas are income tax – litigation and advisory, with related practices in litigation (corporate tax and international tax), advisory, and mergers & acquisitions. She is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Delhi ITAT Bar Association, and speaks Hindi and English.
