Krishna Kishore

Krishna Kishore is a Partner and senior member of the Corporate Law practice at the Mumbai office, with related experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general corporate and commercial advisory, special economic zones and litigation. He has been associated with the firm since 2006.

He advises corporate clients on acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and business assets, joint ventures, insolvency and bankruptcy matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, technology transfer, inbound foreign investments, special economic zones, retail property and facilities management for malls, and general corporate and commercial counselling.

He also advises overseas companies on setting up business operations in India, including subsidiaries, limited liability partnerships, branches and liaison offices, post-acquisition integration, real estate acquisition by buyout, lease or leave and license, statutory registrations, corporate compliance and legal audits. In addition, he handles white collar crime and investigations, civil and commercial litigation, and disputes and offences under the Companies Act and foreign exchange regulations.

He has represented clients before the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Sessions Court, Directorate of Enforcement and High Courts. He holds a B.S.L. and LL.B. and is a member of the Bihar State Bar Council. He speaks English and Hindi.
