Ketan Mukhija

Ketan Mukhija is a Partner in the Corporate and M&A practice and Co-Head of the Venture Capital practice at Kochhar & Co., specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He brings nearly two decades of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, banking and finance, infrastructure, real estate, energy, and capital markets, acting for multinational corporations, financial institutions, and large Indian business groups.

Ketan has advised on several high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, including representing Daiichi Sankyo in its acquisition of a majority equity interest in Ranbaxy Laboratories, advising Tech Mahindra in its acquisition of a controlling stake in Satyam Computer Services, and representing Schneider Electric in multiple acquisitions including Luminous Power Technologies. He has also advised Softbank Asian Infrastructure Fund and Goldman Sachs on strategic investments, and represented TransUnion International in its acquisition of a substantial stake in Credit Information Bureau (India) Ltd. He previously worked as a solicitor with an international law firm in the UK and served as Group Senior Vice President (Legal Strategy and Corporate Planning) overseeing legal functions for a group of over 300 companies.

Ketan holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law and is also a qualified Company Secretary. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in addition to India. He has completed an Advanced M&A Course from the London School of Business.
