Menaka Sawhney

Menaka Sawhney is a Partner at Kochhar & Co. in the New Delhi office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her practice spans Corporate/M&A, Real Estate & Construction, Dispute Resolution and White-Collar Crime, advising prominent domestic and foreign corporations across various sectors.

Menaka has extensive experience in anti-corruption and corporate fraud, advising clients facing criminal investigations by government enforcement agencies and handling contentious contracts, dispute resolution and white-collar crime matters. She also advises on regulatory matters including FDI, FEMA and the Companies Act, coupled with transaction advisory involving investment agreements, service agreements, outsourced manufacturing contracts and business transfers. In addition, she has considerable experience in major real estate projects involving structuring of land acquisitions, leases and license agreements, and has successfully mediated disputes and negotiated contractual terms for clients.

Menaka holds an LL.B. (Hons) from London Metropolitan University, UK.
