Vijai Mathur

Vijai Mathur is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal in New Delhi, specialising in tax advisory law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. With over 50 years of senior management experience, he assists Indian and international clients in domestic and cross‑border acquisitions, joint ventures, and business restructuring, with particular expertise in entry strategy for foreign companies, employment laws, compliance management, and regulatory matters.

Vijai provides strategic advice on corporate governance, legal and regulatory compliance, and business ethics, including the establishment of codes of corporate governance to add value to companies and their stakeholders. He has over 20 years of corporate experience with the Gillette Group in India, where he served on the Board and Audit Committee of Gillette India Ltd., leading the Indian legal team and managing new business development and M&A activities for Gillette in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
