Poonita Harsh Kundra

Poonita Harsh Kundra is a Partner in the Tax group at the New Delhi office, with a primary focus on Tax Advisory Law. She is an Advocate and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has been associated with the firm since 2009.

She has over 17 years of experience in tax advisory, compliance and litigation, tax planning and restructuring. She has been involved in complex tax advisory and restructuring matters, including mergers, demergers and slump sales, and advises companies on domestic direct taxation, InvITs, REITs, family settlements, succession planning, trust settlements, wills, amalgamations, appeals and litigation.

Her related practice areas include direct tax advisory and litigation, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning and family settlements. She has addressed seminars and conferences on direct taxation and has authored articles on LLP taxation, Controlled Foreign Companies, tax avoidance and Indian REITs. She has also been a guest faculty at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Manesar.

She holds an LL.B., FCA, M.Com, B.Com (Hons.) and DBF. She is a member of the Bar Council of India and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.
