Rushil Mathur

Rushil Mathur is an Associate Partner within the Dispute Resolution team at Kochhar & Co. in the Mumbai office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. With over a decade of experience, he advises on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, including litigation before courts and arbitral tribunals, white-collar crime matters, and insolvency-related proceedings.

Rushil regularly represents clients before various judicial and quasi-judicial fora across Indian jurisdictions, including the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and its Appellate Bench, and the Bombay High Court. His practice spans real estate, insurance, projects and infrastructure, technology, and finance. He has advised multinational clients on corporate insolvency processes, resolution plans under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and represented creditors before the Committee of Creditors. He is also experienced in oppression and mismanagement proceedings, criminal defamation, debt recovery and arbitration matters.

Rushil holds a BLS. LL.B. from Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai University (2014). He is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and the Bombay Bar Association.
