Anirban Sen

Anirban Sen is Counsel and part of the Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice, based in the Mumbai office. His primary practice area is Dispute Resolution.

He has over 14 years of experience advising and representing clients before various fora, including the Supreme Court of India, the Bombay High Court, the Delhi High Court, the Competition Commission of India, the NCLT and the NCLAT. His practice spans a wide range of sectors and includes advising promoters, fund managers, corporate houses, real estate companies and developers, consortiums of housing societies, private clients and resolution professionals.

He advises and represents clients in relation to disputes arising from corporate and commercial transactions, real estate, inheritance, securities, strategic investments by private equity funds and other investment vehicles, data protection and privacy, insolvency, shareholder disputes, and court-approved mergers, demergers and reductions of share capital, among other matters.

In particular, he has experience advising on commercial disputes, arbitration and real estate. He has written on a variety of subjects, including 'Unregistered Memorandum of Family Arrangement: Valid Instrument Recording Antecedent Title to Immovable Property', published by Mondaq.

He holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from ICFAI University, Dehradun (2012), and is an Advocate in India. He speaks English.
