Ira Swain is an Associate Partner in the firm's corporate practice, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. She advises domestic and international clients on strategic investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings across various sectors, including infrastructure, chemicals, manufacturing, and technology, with over a decade of experience.

Her practice focuses on transactional structuring, legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, and navigating regulatory requirements under Indian corporate and foreign exchange laws. Ira advises private equity investors, multinational corporations, family offices, and Indian companies on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross‑border transactions.

Ira has completed in‑house secondments with Mahindra & Mahindra Limited and SpiceJet Limited, working closely with internal teams on transactional and corporate advisory matters. Her prior experience in the real estate sector also provides her with a practical understanding of property‑related due diligence and commercial structuring in large‑scale projects.
