Shantanu Singh

Shantanu Singh is a Partner in CMS INDUSLAW's Transaction practice group, based in the Bengaluru office. His primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions.

He advises a range of clients, including early and late stage investors, funds, acquirers, sellers, promoters and companies, in relation to private equity and venture capital investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and corporate compliance.

In particular, he has experience advising on transactions involving sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, consumer brands, retail, fintech and defence.

He has written on a variety of subjects, including the regulatory regime on overseas investments, FDI-ODI swap transactions and India's regulatory landscape in the defence sector, published by Infolex. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, movies and scuba diving.

He holds a B.S.L. L.L.B. from ILS Law College, University of Pune (2014), and is an Advocate in India. He speaks English.
