Shailender Sharma

Shailender Sharma is a Partner in the Corporate Commercial and Capital Markets practice at Dentons Link Legal, New Delhi, specializing in Capital Markets Law. With over 15 years of experience, he advises issuers and book running lead managers on IPOs, qualified institutional placements, and debt issuances, including listed non‑convertible debentures.

Shailender has advised on equity issuances by leading public sector banks including Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Indian Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra, as well as Jammu and Kashmir Bank. He has advised Ethos Limited on its rights issue, Amber Enterprises on a QIP, and Epack Prefab Technologies and Vidya Wires on their public issues. He has advised NHAI, IRFC, PFC, REC, MRPL, and SJVN on public issuances and private placements of tax‑free bonds and other debt instruments. He also advised Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and Indore Municipal Corporation on their maiden issuances of listed municipal bonds. His practice also includes strategic acquisitions, including advising Chennai Port Trust on the acquisition of the Government of India's stake in Kamarajar Port Limited and Malpani Group on the acquisition of Imagicaa Entertainment Limited.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Delhi.
