Santosh Pai

Santosh Pai is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises on cross‑border M&A, joint ventures, greenfield investments, and technical collaborations spanning India, China, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Santosh holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons) from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, an LL.M in Chinese Laws from Tsinghua University, and an MBA from Vlerick Business School (Belgium) at Peking University. He also completed an executive program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School. He is qualified as a Solicitor (NP) with the Law Society of England and Wales.

He founded the India‑China practice group in 2010 and is one of the few Indian lawyers who speaks Mandarin Chinese. He is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) Core Group on China and an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Chinese Studies, New Delhi.
