R. Ravichandran

R. Ravichandran is a Senior Partner at Kochhar & Co.'s Chennai office, specializing in real estate law, corporate and commercial law, and regulatory compliance. He has over three decades of professional experience advising multinational and Indian corporates on the full spectrum of real estate and construction law, including advisory and disputes.

He has advised numerous multinational companies on establishing business operations in India, handling regulatory compliance under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and the Companies Act. Notable matters include representing a major foreign corporation in the commercial gas distribution sector seeking to establish gas stations in over 200 locations in India, and representing a major information technology consulting company on all corporate real estate matters.

He holds a B.L. from Madras Law College, a B.Com. from Loyola College, Chennai, and has passed the C.A. Intermediate examination from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is a member of the Tamil Nadu Bar Association.
