Prateek Bedi

Prateek Bedi is a Partner at Dua Associates in Gurgaon, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, joint ventures, and project finance. He has extensive experience in client transactions relating to strategic and financial investments, investment structuring, and cross-border M&A across the pharma, real estate, hospitality, power, infrastructure, banking and finance, private equity, information technology, and education sectors.

Prateek has advised the world's leading global airline catering company on its acquisition of a leading airline caterer in India; a Finnish technology company on its acquisition of an Indian company developing IT solutions for the telecom sector; a leading sovereign wealth fund of Singapore on a joint venture with a domestic real estate entity for developing high-end villas in NCR; an American multinational technology company on an asset purchase of an Indian technology business as part of a global acquisition; and an Indian multinational outsourcing service provider on its acquisition of a company in the business correspondent space. He also advises on real estate financing for completion of stalled housing projects and assists foreign companies with India expansion and compliance.

Prateek holds an LL.B (Hons.) from Amity Law School, Indraprastha University, New Delhi (2007). He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and is actively involved with the Finland Chamber of Commerce in India and Business Finland.
