Prashanth Sabeshan

Prashanth Sabeshan is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal in Bengaluru, specialising in infrastructure law, energy and projects, and banking and finance. He is dual qualified as an Advocate in India and a Solicitor in England & Wales (non-practicing), with over 28 years of experience spanning India and international jurisdictions, including a senior in-house counsel role in Singapore and Indonesia on a USD 2 billion mine-to-port project in East Kalimantan.

Prashanth advises clients across the entire project lifecycle, from tenders and policy development to investments, joint ventures, construction and EPC contracts, O&M agreements, financing, concessions, and PPPs. He has advised on landmark transactions including the Yen 2 billion investment by a leading Japanese electricity major in a renewable platform in India; the USD 2 billion project financing of Petronet LNG's Dahej terminal; Reliance Industries' 1200 km East West Pipeline Project; and a 1.4 GW solar project under Saudi Arabia's NREP. His practice spans renewables, oil and gas, airports, ports, mining, waste management, data centres, and real estate.

Prashanth holds a BA LL.B (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (1997 batch). He is the author of Investing in India's Infrastructure and Energy Sectors - Laws and Practise (Thomson Reuters, 2021).
