Iqbal Tahir

Iqbal Tahir is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice group at Dua Associates in Gurgaon, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and arbitration. He advises clients on M&A, joint ventures, and private equity transactions across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, hospitality, education, financial services, real estate, and IT.

Iqbal has extensive experience in corporate and commercial litigations, arbitrations, and insolvency matters, and has represented clients before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the NCLT, and quasi-judicial authorities and tribunals. He also advises on real estate transactions including acquisition, development, investment structuring, sale, leasing, collaboration, construction contracts, and property due diligence across India.

Iqbal holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kashmir and a Master's degree from Bristol Law School, UK. He has also attended a leadership education programme at Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
