Deepti Bhat

Deepti Bhat is a Partner in the Corporate M&A practice group at Kochhar & Co.'s Bangalore office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her focus areas include mergers and acquisitions, amalgamations, incorporation of companies and limited liability partnerships, corporate compliance, and corporate due diligences. She has considerable experience working on mergers for multinational and domestic companies, including multi-state level transactions.

Deepti has advised some of the largest multinational corporations, including leading blue-chip technology and manufacturing companies, on their entry, investments and expansion in India. She regularly handles corporate compliance work for foreign clients with business operations in India, and also advises companies on restructuring, closure of business operations and winding up or liquidation, including compliance under Company Law, LLP law, and Foreign Exchange regulations.

Deepti holds an LL.B. from SDM Law College, Mangalore (2003) and was admitted to the Bar Association of Karnataka in 2003.

She is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for Corporate M&A by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2022).
