Anshuman Sahijpal

Anshuman Sahijpal is a Partner at Kochhar & Co. in the Gurgaon office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He is a member of the Corporate and Private Equity practice groups, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, private equity, securities laws, cross-border financing and regulatory approvals.

Anshuman advises multinational clients and foreign investors on regulatory and compliance issues, structuring inbound investments, due diligence, investor rights and exit options, with expertise in foreign direct investment policy, foreign exchange laws and securities law. His sector experience includes automotive, energy, financial services, infrastructure, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, real estate, retail and technology.

Anshuman holds a Masters in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and a B.A., LL.B. from the Army Institute of Law. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and was recognised as a Next Generation Lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2017.
