Amitjivan Joshi

Amitjivan Joshi is a Partner and senior member of the Corporate Law practice at the Mumbai office, with a primary focus on Mergers and Acquisitions. He has been associated with the firm since 2007 and is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

He specializes in corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, business, asset and stock purchase deals, SEBI takeovers, delisting offers, joint ventures and foreign collaborations, technology transfers, distribution and supply arrangements, international commercial arbitration, corporate insolvency resolution, business divestments and liquidation.

His transactional experience includes corporate governance, foreign exchange control regulations, regulatory compliance, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, and due diligence.

He holds an LL.B., FCS, B.Com and a Diploma in Securities Law. He is a member of the Bar Association of Maharashtra & Goa and speaks English, Hindi and Marathi.
