Amit Soni

Amit Soni is a Lawyer at Kochhar & Co. in the New Delhi office, specialising in Corporate Compliance. He is a member of the Firm's Regulatory, Government Relations, Public Policy and Corporate practice groups, with more than 15 years of strategic advisory experience in government relations and public policy work.

Amit has advised and represented leading multinational companies, including Fortune Global 500 corporations, on critical legal and regulatory issues, and has represented high-net-worth individuals before top investigation agencies in India in matters involving criminal investigation and prosecution. He advises clients on business investments and expansion in India, including applicable laws, regulatory frameworks and approvals, liaison with government departments, and compliance and documentation for projects and investments.

Amit holds a B.Com. and an LL.B. He is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, the Delhi High Court Bar Association, the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Indian Police Foundation.
