Aishwarya Samanta

Aishwarya Samanta is an Associate Partner at Dentons Link Legal, New Delhi, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. She advises leading domestic and international banks, financial institutions, funds, and corporates on complex financing transactions, including project finance, private credit, structured lending, debt restructuring, equity financing, external commercial borrowings, and infrastructure financing.

Aishwarya has significant experience advising on financing transactions across sectors such as renewable and conventional power, roads and highways, real estate, railways, and infrastructure. Her work includes advising lenders and borrowers on syndicated and bilateral financing, refinancing, securitization structures, security creation, and regulatory aspects of large‑scale financing arrangements. She has also advised authorities and bidders on project advisory mandates involving tender documentation, public‑private partnerships, consortium arrangements, and strategic infrastructure development. She has been involved in several high‑value and complex transactions for leading financial institutions and infrastructure‑focused lenders, including project financings, acquisition financings, and restructuring mandates.

She holds an LL.B from the University of Delhi (2012) and an LL.M in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of London (2014). She was enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2015.
