Suhas Srinivasiah

Suhas Srinivasiah is a Senior Partner at Kochhar & Co. and a founding member of the Firm's Bangalore office, specialising in Employment Law. He is an expert on labour and employment law issues faced by R&D units, offshore centres and BPOs in India, advising clients on employment and retention strategies, separation of senior management, reductions in force, trade union negotiations, and voluntary separation schemes.

Suhas also handles large real estate projects across India and has strong experience in joint ventures, technical collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic investments in the information technology, manufacturing, automobile and biotech industries. He represents several Fortune 500 companies, including diversified business conglomerates and financial institutions, in setting up large software development, R&D, engineering design, and GCC operations in India. He also advises clients on investigating violations of ethics and code of conduct guidelines and conducts anti-bribery trainings.

Suhas holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (1998) and has been called to the Bar since 1999. He has been the India representative at the prestigious International Forum for Employment Law conducted by Cambridge Forum from 2017 to 2026.

He is recognised as a Global Thought Leader for Labour and Employment by Who's Who Legal (2022–2025), and has been listed among India's Top 100 Lawyers by Forbes India consecutively from 2020 to 2023.
