Shivika Upadhyay

Shivika Upadhyay is a Principal Associate at Kochhar & Co. in New Delhi, practicing in the firm's Corporate and Real Estate practice vertical, with a focus on corporate law, M&A, private equity, venture capital, and real estate transactions.

She advises domestic and multinational companies on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, and provides transactional support in conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating acquisition documentation. In the real estate domain, she advises on multi-dimensional transactions including land acquisitions (public and private), leasing of large commercial spaces, restructuring of leasehold rights, and FIDIC design and construction contracts. She regularly advises Fortune 500 companies, listed entities and startups, with matter values ranging from INR 50 crore to INR 1,000 crore.

Shivika holds an LL.B from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She has completed the GDPR Foundation Certification Course in association with the Copenhagen Compliance and Information Security Institute and a Certificate Course in Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

She is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and the Inter Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).
