Nidhi Pathania

Nidhi Pathania is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal in Mumbai, specialising in banking and finance law and restructuring and insolvency. With over 16 years of experience, she advises domestic and foreign banks, institutions, and investors on corporate and project finance, structured finance, real estate finance, cross-border transactions, syndicated and bilateral financing, and debt capital market transactions across the energy, power transmission, highways, ports, airports, data centres, and manufacturing sectors.

Nidhi has acted as legal counsel to several banks including HSBC, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and State Bank of India on financing transactions for infrastructure investment trusts, solar and wind power projects, thermal power plants, transmission projects, roads, ports, and data centres. She has also advised on multiple issuances of listed non-convertible debentures and loan facilities aggregating billions of rupees. In her restructuring and insolvency practice, she has advised resolution professionals, liquidators, and committees of creditors in insolvency resolution processes under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, including for ABG Shipyard Ltd., Jyoti Structures Ltd., and Gitanjali Gems Ltd.
