Munish Sharma

Munish Sharma is a Partner at Dua Associates, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. His practice focuses on M&A, private equity, in‑bound and out‑bound investments, public‑private partnership concessions, infrastructure projects, project finance, capital markets, and corporate and commercial transactions. He advises investment banks, private equity firms, government and private companies, and financial institutions across India, Asia, Europe, and North America.

Munish has over twenty years of experience in foreign direct investments, structuring business presence in India, regulatory approvals, and intellectual property protection. He has advised Delhi International Airport Limited on the modernization of Delhi Airport with a project cost of over USD 1.6 billion, GMR Infrastructure Limited on the development of a greenfield airport at Hyderabad with a total project cost of approximately USD 600 million, and on the development of a new international terminal at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul with a project cost of approximately Euro 500 million. He has also advised clients in the renewable energy sector, including Radiance Renewables, Mytrah Energy, and Orange Renewable Power Private Limited, and represents Power Finance Corporation and REC in power sector financing. He has represented Goldman Sachs, Warburg Pincus, and other PE firms, and has advised British Gas, Gas Authority of India, IOCL, Gaz de France, Oiltanking, and Skytanking in the oil and gas sector.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws, a B.Sc., and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Delhi (1982, 1986, 1988, 1991). He is a member of the Delhi Bar Council, the International Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
