Munawwar Naseem

Munawwar Naseem is a seasoned litigator based in Delhi, with over two decades of experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, encompassing high-stakes corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. He has been an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India since 2011, advising clients and briefing senior advocates in both single-forum and multi-jurisdictional disputes across various courts and tribunals.

He represents multinational corporations, including the world's largest fast-food chain, in complex, high-value commercial disputes. Notable representations before the Supreme Court of India include appearing for State Bank of India in the Vijay Mallya proceedings, and for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) in a landmark case interpreting 'deemed authorisation'. Beyond corporate and commercial disputes, he has an extensive body of work in personal and family laws, advising on and litigating matters involving succession, trusts, and partition.

Munawwar holds an LL.B from the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University (2003).

He is also engaged in social causes, working with the NGOs Snehi and Look Forward Foundation.
