Mohan Kumar

Mohan Kumar is a Senior Partner at Kochhar & Co. in the Hyderabad office, specialising in Real Estate Law. With over 20 years of experience, he advises on property acquisitions, title due diligence, joint development agreements, and the drafting of sale deeds, lease deeds and related documents across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He has managed significant assignments in the real estate sector, including advising on FDI and FII transactions involving major land and property transfers, and has a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory framework governing licenses and approvals for SEZs and Integrated Townships.

Mohan also has extensive experience in litigation and labour and employment laws, representing clients before various courts and tribunals. He has advised India's largest supermarket chain on establishing retail outlets and warehouses in South India, a French multinational company on real estate due diligence for its thermal power business investment, and a public limited company on property acquisition for setting up its chemical industry. He has also advised a leading nationalised bank on reviewing due diligence processes for immovable properties in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Mohan holds an LL.M. from Osmania University, an LL.B. and a B.Com from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, and a Master of Science in Psychology from Dr. BRAOU, Hyderabad. He is a member of the Bar Council of Telangana and a Life Member of the Telangana High Court Advocates Association.
