Mitesh Jain is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal, where he heads the Tax Practice and specializes in Tax Advisory Law. With over two decades of experience, he advises clients on direct tax projects including litigation, mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, transaction support, and review of transaction documents.

Mitesh's expertise includes tax and deal structuring, inbound and outbound investment structuring from a tax and FEMA perspective, cross‑border transactions, global restructuring, transfer pricing, permanent establishment risk evaluation, and defence strategies against GAAR. He advises clients primarily in the pharmaceutical, oil and gas services, dredging, manufacturing, infrastructure, FMCG, and cement sectors. Notable engagements include advising a French oil and gas service provider on India‑based projects, assisting a US‑based private equity fund with buy‑side tax due diligence on an Indian target, and advising a large foreign cement company on its exit from an Indian joint venture.

He is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
