Martand Singh

Martand Singh is a Senior Partner and senior member of the corporate and projects, energy and infrastructure practices. He has been associated with the firm since 2002 and operates out of the Mumbai and Bangalore offices, where he heads the Bangalore office as Regional Head – South.

He focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, inbound foreign investments, outbound investments by residents, private equity and venture capital investments, divestment of businesses and business assets, and media and entertainment transactions. He also provides ongoing general corporate and commercial counselling.

In addition, he leads the projects, energy, natural resources and infrastructure practice and has substantial experience advising clients on energy projects, ports, transport and other infrastructure transactions, as well as related project finance transactions. His related practice areas include corporate litigation, corporate advisory, employment law, joint ventures and real estate.

He has been listed as a key practitioner in Projects, Energy and Infrastructure by Chambers and Partners and Asia Pacific Legal 500, and in Corporate by Indian Lawyer 250. He has spoken at conferences and seminars on foreign direct investment, M&A and other topics. He speaks Hindi and English.
