Jishnu Sanyal is a Partner – Technology, Media and Telecom at Trilegal and a key member of the firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, focusing on Telecommunications Law. He advises technology, media, and telecom companies on a broad spectrum of regulatory, commercial, and strategic and policy matters.

His core areas of focus include data privacy, telecom regulatory compliance, payments regulation, technology contracts, and broader commercial laws. He has significant experience assisting clients with complex issues relating to data protection, cyber security, consumer protection, artificial intelligence, intermediary and content liability, advertising, and payments, spanning sectors including outsourcing, e-commerce, telecom, space/satellite, cloud services, healthcare and SaaS.

Jishnu is regularly involved in complex cross-border transactions and policy advisory, helping clients align business strategies with India’s evolving regulatory framework. His representative clients include Amazon Web Services, Comcast, SES.SA, PayPal and Irdeto.
