Indrani Lahiri

Indrani Lahiri is a Partner at Kochhar & Co. in the New Delhi office, specialising in Employment Law. She advises domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of employment matters, including redundancies, terminations, social security, employee benefits, disciplinary proceedings, workplace sexual harassment, trade unions, employment contracts, and pre- and post-employment restrictive covenants.

Indrani has significant experience conducting compliance audits and labour due diligences, advising on the transfer and integration of employees in M&A transactions, and serving as an external member on Internal Complaints Committees for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment. She also advises on corporate law matters including joint ventures, asset purchase and business transfer agreements, regulatory compliance and corporate governance, as well as TMT matters including media, broadcasting and telecom licensing, and data protection.

Indrani holds an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and a B.Com (Hons.) from the University of Delhi. She is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi and has served as Vice-Chair of the Employment & Immigration Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association.

She has been recognised by The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer for Labour & Employment (2019) and as a Next Generation Lawyer for Labour & Employment (2018).
