CR Muralidharan

CR Muralidharan is a Partner at Dua Associates in Bengaluru, practising primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial laws, with particular expertise in real estate, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, exchange control regulations and intellectual property laws.

He has significant experience in real estate transactional work and represents leading real estate developers in India, advising on acquisitions by way of sale, joint development, leases and allotments from governmental agencies for purposes including the establishment of Information Technology Parks, Special Economic Zones, and other commercial and industrial establishments. He also advises on corporate restructuring, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, and related documentation. He has substantial experience in civil, corporate and commercial litigation before various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India, and has represented numerous multinational corporations in establishing business presence in India.

CR Muralidharan holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Madras Law College, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for securing the first rank in the law degree examination of Madras University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Madras Christian College. He also completed the Company Secretary course from the National Law School of India University.
