Apurbalal Mallik

Apurbalal Mallik is a Partner in the Hyderabad office of CMS INDUSLAW. With over 15 years of extensive experience, his practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions.

He advises on corporate law advisory and specialises in transactions pertaining to private equity, venture capital investments, cross-border and domestic mergers & acquisitions, and has advised various multinational clients on the corporate structuring aspects of transactions.

He has also been involved in various capital market transactions and project financing transactions.

Apurbalal has successfully advised and concluded various complex and high-value transactions in mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, business transfers, financial and strategic investments and exits, and provided general corporate advisory in multi-variable sectors including infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, e-commerce, information technology, education and hospitality.

He has provided extensive support to multinational clients in their corporate transactions, entry and exit strategies, and other commercial arrangements in India.

Prior to joining CMS INDUSLAW, Apurbalal worked with Amarchand & Mangaldas and Suresh A. Shroff & Co. (erstwhile), Fox Mandal & Co. and Link Legal.

He holds an LL.B. from the University of Burdwan (2004) and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from NALSAR University of Law (2007), and is enrolled as an Advocate in India. He speaks English.
