Abhishek Dubey

Abhishek Dubey is a Partner – Corporate at Trilegal, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. He has more than 17 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate and commercial matters, with practice spanning M&A, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory.

He has led several domestic and cross-border strategic M&A transactions and joint ventures, and has advised on numerous investment transactions and diligences across sectors including e-commerce, banking, manufacturing, telecom, pharma, education, and real estate. He also offers India entry advisory for technology, industrial, and education sector companies, and regularly issues legal opinions on company law, FDI regulations, RBI directions, and SEBI laws.

His representative matters include PixxelSpace’s Series B fundraise of US$60 million, Zeco Aircon’s 100% acquisition by Munters AB, Sanzyme’s sale of pharmaceutical assets to JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals for US$85 million, and Whatfix’s US$90 million Series D fundraise led by Softbank. He has also liaised with regulatory bodies including the Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and the Department of Telecom.

Abhishek is recognised as a ‘Recommended / Key Lawyer’ for Aviation (including Aerospace and Defence) by The Legal 500 (2026), among the Top 15 Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyers by The LegalOne Blue Ribbon (2026), and received the International Bar Association’s Corporate Law Committee Young Lawyer Scholarship Award in 2018.
