Y. Sriniwas Arun

Y. Sriniwas Arun is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal in Hyderabad, focusing on corporate advisory, banking and finance, and insolvency and restructuring.

He has significant experience in the infrastructure and real estate sectors, advising clients on government contracts, commercial and residential development, logistics, and SEZ projects. He has acted for banks and financial institutions on project financing for major infrastructure projects under the Bharatmala Pariyojana, including loans of up to INR 1150 crore. He also advises on private equity transactions, fundraising, mergers, project financing, and capital and debt structuring. In the insolvency space, he has advised banks, resolution professionals and resolution applicants on restructuring under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, including acting as RP Counsel for corporate insolvency resolution processes and advising on restructuring under RBI frameworks.

He holds a B.Com, an LL.B and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS). He is a member of the Bar Council of Telangana, an IBBI Registered Insolvency Professional, and holds a diploma in Arbitration from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
