SR Tejas

SR Tejas is a disputes resolution lawyer at Dua Associates, Bangalore, specialising in Dispute Resolution with a focus on corporate and commercial disputes. He develops pre‑dispute strategies and dispute resolution advisory, and regularly appears before the High Court of Karnataka, the National Company Law Tribunal, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Debts Recovery Tribunal, Commercial Courts, and Arbitral Tribunals.

Tejas was a core member of the team advising a consortium of Indian banks in cross‑border recovery proceedings arising from one of India's largest banking Non‑Performing Assets since 2013, which contributed to the evolution of banking and commercial laws relating to wilful defaulters and fugitive economic offenders. He also represents civic‑minded citizens and organisations in public interest litigations before the High Court of Karnataka, securing relief on civic issues in Bengaluru. He has spoken at various fora, including on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and contractual risk provisions, and chaired panel discussions on ADR in corporate practice.

He holds a B.A.L., LL.B. from University Law College, Bangalore University (2008) and an LL.M. from the London School of Economics (2010). He is registered with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
