Simrin Fazal

Simrin Fazal is a Partner at Dua Associates in Mumbai, specialising in intellectual property law, media and entertainment law, and real estate law. She advises clients on rights management for audiovisual content across theatre, OTT, digital, satellite, and other platforms, and has expertise in drafting, revising, and negotiating media-related contracts end-to-end.

Simrin is actively involved in advising on and executing end-to-end registration of trademarks, copyright, and designs. In her real estate practice, she undertakes advisory and drafting of conveyance documents, performs due diligence for immovable properties, and drafts transactional documents for acquisition, transfer, and licensing of properties. She also has experience in commercial, real estate, and media-related litigation, and advises clients in the healthcare sector on technology, patents, and asset acquisition.

Simrin holds an LL.B from Rizvi Law College, Mumbai (2016). Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, she completed her Bachelors in Accounting & Finance.
