Shravan Yammanur

Shravan Yammanur is a Partner at the firm in New Delhi, specialising in international arbitration, investment treaty arbitration, and commercial dispute resolution. He regularly represents clients in high-value, complex disputes across sectors including mining, oil and gas, energy, and civil aviation, in proceedings under the UNCITRAL, ICSID, LCIA, and SIAC Rules.

Shravan has represented the Republic of India in several UNCITRAL arbitrations administered by the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), including disputes under the India-UK, India-UAE, and India-South Korea Bilateral Investment Treaties, involving mining, energy, and civil aviation matters. He has also acted for the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons in a multi‑billion dollar oil and gas arbitration seated in London, and for Indian Oil in one of India's largest domestic arbitration proceedings. He is an Advocate-on-Record of the Supreme Court of India and has successfully represented clients before the Supreme Court and High Courts.

Shravan has previously worked in the Government of India at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Finance, where he advised on foreign investment and trade issues and was a member of India's negotiating team for investment treaties. He has also served as an International Adjunct Faculty Member of Uppsala University's Master Programme in Investment Treaty Arbitration and has taught at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment and other institutions.

He is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK) as an Evaluative Mediator and has been recognised as a Future Legal Leader 2026 by the Indian Business Law Journal.
