Rohitashwa Prasad is a Partner at Dentons Link Legal, New Delhi, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. His practice also focuses on private equity and capital markets, advising businesses, investment banks, and private equity funds on strategic acquisitions, asset sales, financial investments, joint ventures, fund raising, IPOs, QIPs, and FCCBs.

Rohitashwa has over 25 years of experience and has handled numerous landmark transactions, including representing the Government of India in the INR 145 billion sale of its shareholding in REC Limited to Power Finance Corporation; advising Info Edge (India) Limited as selling shareholder in the INR 93.75 billion IPO of Zomato; representing InterGlobe Aviation Limited (Indigo) in its INR 30 billion IPO; advising Aquapharm Chemicals in its proposed INR 38 billion sale to PCBL; representing Asian Fusegear in the INR 4.95 billion sale of its switchgear business to Legrand; advising Heidelberg Cement on its INR 4.96 billion acquisition of Mysore Cements; and representing underwriters in IPOs of IRCON, RITES, IRCTC, INOX Wind, and Power Grid Corporation. He also has significant experience advising the Government of India on its disinvestment programme.

Rohitashwa holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Delhi, a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, and a B.A. in Economics (Hons) from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. He is admitted to practice in India and New York.

He is recognised as a Notable Practitioner in M&A by IFLR1000 (2023) and is recommended in Capital Markets by The Legal 500. He served as Vice‑President of the Cross Border Investment Committee of the Inter Pacific Bar Association (2018–2022).
