Revathy Muralidharan

Revathy Muralidharan is a Partner in the Mumbai office of CMS INDUSLAW. Her primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions.

She specialises in merger and acquisitions and private equity investments. She also specialises in general corporate commercial, corporate restructuring, employment and compliance. She advises clients regularly on structuring and regulatory aspects in connection with both inbound and outbound cross-border investments.

Her industry-wide experience is as varied as her clientele, including healthcare, technology, consumer goods, e-commerce, manufacturing, mobility including EV, services and real estate. Her transactional experience includes share acquisitions, business transfers, growth and late-stage investments, structured exits, joint ventures and other commercial arrangements.

Her corporate commercial practice also includes advice and assistance with setting up legal entities, corporate governance, routine corporate secretarial compliances, advice on managing day-to-day business operations, and review and drafting of various commercial contracts.

She is a regular speaker at various conferences and universities and has recently conducted the ET Master Class on Merger & Acquisitions and Cross Border Investments. Before joining CMS INDUSLAW, she worked with firms such as JSA and Trilegal at their Gurgaon and Bangalore offices respectively.

She has published an article on 'Navigating the legal cosmos: A deep dive into the norms and guidelines released by INSPACE' in The Economic Times (August 2024) and an article on 'Union Budget: A perfect platform to unlock India's space potential' in Firstpost (July 2024).

She holds a B.A.B.L (Hons.) from the School of Excellence in Law, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (2009), and speaks English.
