Rahul Chouhan

Rahul Chouhan is a Partner in CMS INDUSLAW's Energy & Infrastructure Projects and Energy Regulatory & Advisory team in the Delhi office. His primary practice area is Energy Law, and he has over 12 years of experience.

He advises clients on a range of matters across sectors, including power generators, distribution and transmission licensees, in relation to regulatory disputes between generators and licensees arising out of the Electricity Act, 2003 and the rules and regulations framed thereunder, before specialised forums such as the Electricity Regulatory Commissions, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and High Courts.

In particular, he has experience advising on regulatory issues related to the power sector in the country.

He holds an LL.B. (Hons.) with specialisation in Energy Laws from the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun (2013), and is an Advocate in India. He speaks English.
