Nusrat Hassan

Nusrat Hassan is the Managing Partner, India at Dentons Link Legal, specializing in Arbitration and Mediation. With more than 25 years of experience, he has created a niche in international arbitrations, having led arbitrations in India and Singapore for select clients, and his legal practice focuses on international transactions and dispute resolution for marquee American, European, and Indian business clients.

Nusrat is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and serves as Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, India Branch. He was an invited convener of the core group of the CII Task Force on Dispute Resolution, is Vice‑Chair of the International Construction Projects Committee of the IPBA, and is empanelled with the Beijing Arbitration Commission. He has advised numerous international clients on investments in India, corporate transactions, entry strategies, and commercial arrangements, and has written extensively for publications including Kluwer Law International, Juris Publishing, and Thomson Reuters.

He holds an LL.B from the University of Mumbai and is a Chevening Scholar. He is a qualified attorney enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa and a qualified solicitor (non‑active) affiliated to the Law Society of England and Wales.
