Neha Garg

Neha Garg is a Principal Associate in the Intellectual Property Rights practice group at Kochhar & Co.'s Gurgaon office, specialising in Patent Law. She focuses on Patents and Industrial Designs, handling a wide range of patent-related matters.

Neha has extensive experience in conducting patent searches, including prior art, patentability, invalidation, freedom to operate, and state-of-the-art searches, as well as drafting Indian patent applications. Her prosecution work includes responding to office actions and hearing notices issued by the Indian Patent Office and the Indian Design Office. She also handles pre-grant and post-grant patent oppositions, revocation actions, and prepares infringement opinions.

Neha holds a B.Sc. in Zoology from Delhi University, an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from Banasthali University, an M.Tech in Bioinformatics Engineering from Jamia Hamdard University, and an LL.B. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. She is a member of the Delhi State Bar Council and the Patent Agent Association of India (PAAI).
