Mridul Kumbalath

Mridul Kumbalath is a Partner – Real Estate at Trilegal, focusing on Real Estate Law. He is a recognised leader in real estate law with over 16 years of experience across diverse practice areas.

He has represented a variety of real estate funds, multinational companies, lenders, borrowers, retailers, institutional and non-institutional real estate investors, developers and operators. His key specialisations include acquisition and development of real estate projects — residential and commercial — land aggregation for townships and renewable energy projects, warehouse acquisitions and SEZ development.

In addition, he regularly advises on security creation and enforcement as part of lending and investment transactions, commercial leasing, title due diligence, structuring, drafting and negotiation of real estate contracts.

His representative clients include Blackstone, Embassy Group, Embassy REIT, Xander Group, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Fund, Mapletree, RMZ, Purvankara, Oaktree, Salarpuria, Tata Realty, DivyaSree Group, Avigna, Propshare and Indospace Group.
