Kaustubh Prakash

Kaustubh Prakash is an Associate Partner in the corporate litigation practice of Vaish Associates, focusing on Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. He is an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India and has been enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi as an Advocate since 2016.

A significant part of his practice involves advising and representing Indian companies, Insolvency Professionals and banks in corporate insolvency resolution processes. He represents clients in their pre- and post-insolvency litigation before the Supreme Court of India, National Company Law Tribunals and Appellate Tribunals.

He has also represented Indian companies, foreign companies and high-net-worth individuals in their international commercial arbitrations before ad-hoc arbitral tribunals seated in India, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and courts in India including the Supreme Court and High Courts.

He has briefed and assisted many Senior Advocates and Counsels in matters of national importance and has a few reported judgments to his credit. Prior to joining the firm, he read in the Chambers of Mr. Amit Sibal, Senior Advocate.

He holds a B.Com. and an LL.B (Hons.), and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
