K M Amar

K M Amar is a Principal Associate at Kochhar & Co. in the Bangalore office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises on venture capital and private equity transactions across all stages, from seed to Series G, and assists with drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts for domestic and multinational companies.

Amar has acted on numerous significant transactions, including advising Remidio Innovative Solutions on its ~INR 150 crore strategic investment by Sun Pharma Laboratories, advising BB Publication on its ~INR 225 crore acquisition by Veranda Learning Solutions, and acting for Aye Finance on its Series G investment of USD 31 million led by ABC Impact and British International Investment. He also advised G.O.A.T Brand Labs on USD 21 million debt investment by Blackrock and on Series A equity fundraises led by Tiger Global and Flipkart, as well as advising JJG Aero on USD 12 million investment by CX Partners.

Amar holds a B.A., LL.B. and an LL.M. from CMR, receiving the University Gold Medal in both degrees.
